Rashid Meredov and Sergey Lavrov Agree on Schedule of Joint Activities in Phone Call
13 Feb. 12:32On February 12, Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, according to Turkmenistan’s foreign ministry.
During the call, the two sides reviewed a broad range of bilateral cooperation issues. Particular focus was placed on implementing previously reached agreements and coordinating the timetable of upcoming meetings and joint initiatives.
The ministers also highlighted the importance of aligning efforts within multilateral frameworks. Among the topics discussed were cooperation within the Commonwealth of Independent States and interaction among the Caspian littoral states.
In addition, the diplomats exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the professional holidays of their respective diplomatic services.
