President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a digital working meeting today to discuss the strategic progress of the nation's agricultural sector and regional infrastructure projects. The session included the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of agriculture and the provincial governors (hyakims). According to the reports provided during the meeting, comprehensive agrotechnical care is currently being administered to wheat fields across all provinces. Preparations for the upcoming grain harvest are in full swing, including the maintenance of combines, elevators, and collection points. In the cotton sector, farmers are actively engaged in inter-row cultivation and thinning of young plants to ensure optimal growth. Additionally, the silkworm breeding season is progressing steadily as part of the efforts to strengthen the domestic silk industry.

After evaluating the reports, the Head of State emphasized the importance of meeting strict deadlines for cotton sowing and maintaining high standards in the care of spring crops. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the relevant officials to maintain constant supervision over irrigation and fertilization processes to guarantee food security. The President noted that scientific approaches must be integrated into daily farming practices to maximize efficiency.

The meeting also addressed the status of ongoing construction projects for social and industrial facilities across the regions. The President stressed that all new buildings must meet international quality standards and be completed according to the established schedules.
