From June 3 to 6, 2026, the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre hosted the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2026). This prestigious global summit brought together thousands of delegates, including state officials, leaders of multilateral organizations, and corporate executives from dozens of countries. Among the designated guests, attending via an invitation from the Roscongress Foundation and with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo, was a representative from one of Turkmenistan's leading construction enterprises.

As part of the strategic agenda, the representative of the Turkmen private company "Ojar Aziya" attended the central plenary session, which featured addresses by the Presidents of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the United Republic of Tanzania, and the Vice President of the People's Republic of China. Furthermore, the Turkmen delegate participated in a working business lunch with Maria Zakharova, Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, to deliberate on prominent issues within the global economic framework.

The forum provided an essential platform for direct institutional dialogue, allowing the Turkmen representative to hold targeted B2B meetings with prominent Russian and multinational business figures. High-level discussions were conducted with executives from Wildberries, Agalarov Development, Hongqi Auto, and the China Overseas Development Association (CODA), as well as various media representatives. These strategic interactions focused on identifying mutually beneficial investment prospects and expanding cross-border commercial ties.

In addition to the dense corporate itinerary, the event organizers arranged a cultural program showcasing the heritage of Russia's cultural capital. The participants visited the State Hermitage Museum and the Peterhof State Museum-Reserve. Often referred to in global financial circles as the "Russian Davos," the annual forum successfully reconfirmed its status as a vital Eurasian platform for navigating international trade, investment, and multilateral corporate cooperation.
