The Exhibition Center of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan recently hosted the opening of a specialized decorative and applied arts exhibition titled "Culture and Art – Light of Magtymguly Pyragy's Soul." The cultural event coincides with the Day of Workers of Culture and Art and the Poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy. According to reports from regional media outlets, the primary curator of the exposition is Artem Balyan, President of the International Jewelry Association (IJAA).

The corporate association was established in April of this year to advance professional knowledge-sharing, coordinate production techniques, and develop alternative safety testing systems for precious stones and metadata. The Ashgabat fair represents one of the inaugural public showcases organized by the IJAA, displaying a premium inventory of rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and brooches crafted from white, red, and lemon gold manufactured by leading enterprises in Turkmenistan, Russia, and Armenia.

A dedicated pavilion at the center features fine selections produced by the "Lagly Merjen" jewelry factory located in the city of Mary, reflecting classical Turkmen structural aesthetics. Additionally, Balyan’s personal sculptural-jewelry installation titled "Night and Day" occupies the central display area of the gallery.

The cultural exchange generated substantial engagement among Turkmen visual artists, designers, and traditional gold and silversmiths. Coinciding with the launch, Artem Balyan finalized his academic monograph titled "Jewelry Art: Thinking Broadly and Deeply," which is expected to serve as an informative reference manual for contemporary professionals working within the global jewelry manufacturing industry.
