The beginning of 2026 has been marked by significant productivity gains at the Watan power generation facility located in the Lebap province. January statistics reveal an output of 157,510 kWh, surpassing the targeted goals by 1.62%. Financial performance followed a similar upward trend, with services valued at over 3.07 million manats, reflecting a steady execution of the national energy strategy.

The facility’s operational reliability is anchored by two 127 MW gas turbines supplied by General Electric. Since its inauguration a decade ago, this 254 MW complex has remained a vital component of the regional power grid. To ensure seamless distribution, all generation processes are strictly monitored 24/7 by centralized dispatch units, maintaining a constant balance between supply and demand.
