Turkmenistan Startup and Innovation International Forum – 2025 to Be Held within TurkmenTEL-2025
03 Nov. 13:37Ashgabat will host the Turkmenistan Startup and Innovation International Forum – 2025, organized by the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
The event will serve as a platform for presenting the Roadmap for the Development of Turkmenistan’s Innovation and IT Ecosystem, as well as for discussing the next steps in engaging stakeholders from government agencies, the business community, and international development partners.
Among the speakers will be Bagrat Yengibaryan, an international expert from UNDP, who will highlight key areas of cooperation and share global experience in digital innovation and startup development. The forum aims to strengthen collaboration between public and private sectors, exchange knowledge, and promote partnerships in the field of digital technologies.
The event will conclude with a session titled “Opportunities for Regional Cooperation in Developing the Startup Ecosystem in Central Asia”, where startup projects from across the region will be presented. Participants will showcase innovative solutions that foster partnerships and advance joint ICT and innovation initiatives.

In his official greeting to attendees, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the ongoing integration of advanced technologies and international collaboration. The President noted that key landmarks during this 35th anniversary year of independence include the opening of new International Centers for Oncology, Pediatrics, and Dentistry, alongside modern expansions at the "Archman" health resort.
Running through October 12, the three-day event serves as a global platform uniting state ministries, international manufacturers, medical specialists, and researchers. The agenda encompasses interactive exhibition stands, technical sessions, specialized workshops, and strategic B2B and B2G business negotiations.
