The French luxury house Hermès announced a 9.8% increase in sales for the fourth quarter of 2025, surpassing market expectations with revenue reaching €4.09 billion.
By comparison, LVMH recorded growth of only around 1%, while Kering experienced a decline during the same period.
According to industry publication WWD, Hermès’ resilience is largely attributed to its vertically integrated structure, which ensures strict control over production and quality.
Leather goods remained the primary growth engine. Sales of iconic handbag models such as the Birkin, Kelly, and Constance rose by 14.6%. Jewelry collections and homeware lines also posted solid gains of 12.9%.
The weakest performance came from the fragrance and cosmetics segment, where sales declined by 14.6%.
