The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has issued a congratulatory message marking the approach of the Year of the Horse according to the Eastern calendar. The message was published by the State News Agency TDH.

In his address, he emphasized the exceptional role of horses in Turkmen history and identity, describing them as a source of national pride and a powerful symbol of the country’s major accomplishments. He expressed hope that the coming year would bring prosperity, abundance, and the fulfillment of aspirations for the people and the state.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that horses have long represented strength, honor, and continuity in Turkmen culture. He voiced his wish that the new year would be marked by ongoing progress, significant achievements, and a steady succession of joyful moments.

The message also included congratulations on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, celebrated on December 12 within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust. Permanent neutrality was described as a fundamental doctrine ensuring unity, stability, and national well-being.

In addition, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted the successful hosting of a high-level international forum in Ashgabat, attended by heads of state and leaders of international organizations. He stated that the forum played an important role in promoting peace and trust globally and reaffirmed the strong international support for Turkmenistan’s neutral and peace-oriented foreign policy.

President of Turkmenistan Visits the State Hermitage Museum

During his official visit to the Russian Federation, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a visit to the State Hermitage Museum, one of the world’s most renowned cultural institutions. The visit was confirmed by official representatives of the host country.

The President of Turkmenistan was accompanied by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Together, they explored the museum’s vast collections and historical exhibits.

Following the tour, an informal meeting of CIS heads of state was held in the St. George Hall of the Hermitage. Turkmenistan’s participation highlighted the country’s commitment to cultural diplomacy and regional cooperation.
