The visiting team includes surgical specialist Fritz Spelsberg from Ludwig Maximilian University, Dr. Susanna Spelsberg from Munich City Hospital, and renowned cardiac surgeon Professor Michael Weyeng.

The visit focuses on professional exchange and the performance of complex surgical procedures alongside Turkmen counterparts. By working directly in the operating rooms and diagnostic centers of Ashgabat and Arkadag, the German experts are helping to integrate advanced European medical standards into the local healthcare system. Under this program, a group of children from the Balkan region is currently receiving specialized rehabilitative care at the Children's Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadag City. German doctors are actively involved in reviewing these cases and assisting in the recovery processes, ensuring that these children receive world-class medical attention close to home.
