The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has successfully coordinated the repatriation of a group of its citizens from Iran through the territory of Turkmenistan. This strategic operation was organized to ensure the safe return of individuals amid the current regional context. The process relied heavily on the established diplomatic channels and transport agreements between the involved nations.

Uzbekistan’s diplomatic missions in Ashgabat and Tehran worked in close partnership with Turkmen authorities to expedite visa processing and transport logistics. This high-level coordination allowed for the swift resolution of administrative hurdles, ensuring a smooth transition for the passengers. The efficiency of the operation highlights the robust bilateral communication frameworks currently in place.

A total of 41 Uzbek nationals were safely received at the "Sarakhs – Serahs" and "Howdan – Bajgyran" border crossings. Upon entering Turkmen territory, the individuals were provided with necessary assistance, and embassy staff supervised their secure passage to the final destination. The safe transit of these citizens remained a primary focus for the diplomatic services throughout the journey.

The Uzbek Foreign Ministry emphasized that the synchronized efforts between the two countries serve as a testament to the high level of mutual trust and good-neighborly relations in the region.
