If you aspire to experience the European academic environment, a prestigious opportunity has emerged for the students of Magtymguly Turkmen State University. The institution has announced the commencement of the selection process for the Erasmus+ KA171 exchange program for the 2026/2027 academic year. Successful applicants will spend 12 months at the University of Chieti-Pescara (UdA) in Italy, with the program officially starting on October 1, 2026. This initiative offers a profound cultural and educational immersion in the cities of Chieti and Pescara.

The program is specifically designed for students who will be in their final year of undergraduate studies during the 2026/2027 term, as well as for those enrolled in Master’s or PhD programs. Eligibility depends on high academic standing (GPA) and a minimum B1 level of proficiency in either English or Italian according to the CEFR standards. For candidates who do not possess a formal language certificate like IELTS or TOEFL, the program accepts certifications obtained through the free EU Academy online testing platform.

The curriculum includes diverse fields such as the Psychology of Well-Being, Planetary Sciences, and Building Engineering for Cultural Heritage, all conducted entirely in English. Additionally, students can opt for programs in Economics and Legal Studies, which feature a significant English-taught component. Applicants who choose tracks aligned with the English-language curriculum are particularly encouraged to apply, as this ensures a smoother integration into the Italian academic system.

Prospective students should note that individual applications to the Italian host university are not permitted; all candidates must be officially nominated by their home university. Therefore, interested parties must promptly submit their documents—including passport copies, academic transcripts, and language certificates—to the International Relations Office at Magtymguly Turkmen State University. The final deadline for all submissions is May 10, 2026, marking the close of the current recruitment cycle.
