Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Relieved of Duties, New Appointment Announced
14 Feb. 05:52During the extended Cabinet session chaired by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow, additional personnel decisions were made.
According to the “Watan” news broadcast, Bayramgul Motyyevna Orazdurdyyeva was dismissed from her position as Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers. She had been appointed to the post in July 2024.
At the same time, Batyr Meretdurdyyevich Mammedov was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers responsible for science, education, healthcare, sports, youth affairs, and the public sector. Following his appointment, he stepped down as rector of Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction.
