The world-famous Iranian-Swedish artist Arash has announced that his upcoming performance in the capital of Turkmenistan will be a spectacular and emotionally charged show. In a video message released through an official international media platform of Turkmenistan, the singer shared his excitement about performing in Ashgabat.

According to Arash, the audience in Turkmenistan can expect a high-energy concert featuring a full live band, dynamic performances, and a festive atmosphere. He emphasized that many classic songs closely connected to listeners’ memories will be performed during the show.

The artist confirmed that his most iconic hits — including Eastern Fairy Tales, Boro Boro, and Pure Love — will be part of the concert program in Ashgabat. These tracks once dominated global charts and remain popular across Turkmenistan and beyond.

Arash also expressed sincere gratitude to the leadership of Turkmenistan, thanking the President of Turkmenistan for the invitation and warm hospitality. He noted that he is truly happy to be in Turkmenistan and looks forward to meeting his fans.

The concert will take place on December 27 at the Winter Sports Complex in Ashgabat, marking the beginning of the New Year concert week in the capital of Turkmenistan. Earlier reports stated that MOT and Semicenk will also perform as part of the festive celebrations in Turkmenistan.

















Turkmenistan Develops Bio-Agent to Neutralize Methane Emissions

Specialists at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, led by Durdymyrat Gadamov and Altyn Rahmanova, have developed a new-generation bio-agent designed to neutralize soil methane emissions. The solution utilizes local bacteria adapted to the regional climate, which harness methane monooxygenase to convert methane into carbon dioxide and water.

Methane is a major contributor to global warming, with a heat-trapping capacity in the atmosphere significantly higher than that of carbon dioxide. The newly developed bio-agent features high efficiency in industrially congested areas, cost-effectiveness through the use of local raw materials, and complete safety for human health and the environment.

This scientific breakthrough aligns with Turkmenistan's sustainable development strategy, supporting its commitments under the Global Methane Pledge to enhance environmental oversight in the energy sector.
