A four-year-old horse named Hugo, residing in Northamptonshire, UK, has been officially recognized as the tallest living horse in the world. According to the BBC, veterinarians measured Hugo's height without horseshoes at an impressive 199 centimeters at the withers.

Hugo belongs to the Shire breed, historically known in England for its strength and heavy draft capabilities. Owner Brett Masters expects Hugo to continue growing until he reaches approximately 8.5 years of age. Due to his rapid development, the horse receives specialized veterinary care, including regular dental, chiropractic, and dietary monitoring.

Having gained widespread local fame as a "gentle giant," Hugo has caught the attention of the Guinness World Records team. He currently participates in traditional Shire horse demonstrations and is being trained for riding.

Amazon is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire the Israeli artificial intelligence startup Decart in a deal valued at approximately $7 billion, according to The Wall Street Journal. Founded in 2023, Decart specializes in software that seamlessly bridges various AI processors and develops generative 3D world models such as "Lucy" and "Oasis." The startup had previously reached a $4 billion valuation earlier this year after raising over $400 million from major venture funds.

The strategic acquisition is poised to boost Amazon’s AWS cloud computing division, enhancing its proprietary Trainium3 AI chips to better compete against market leader Nvidia in generative AI hardware infrastructure.
