The "Orient Express Corinthian" sailing cruise ship has successfully completed the trials of its propulsion system, setting a new speed record for sailing vessels of its size. Poised to become the largest sailing ship of its kind in the world, it measures approximately 220 meters in length with a gross tonnage of 25,200 tons. The vessel is designed for a highly exclusive travel experience, bridging the gap between historical sailing elegance and cutting-edge maritime engineering.

The ship accommodates only 110 passengers in 54 luxurious suites, ensuring an intimate and personalized atmosphere on board. Built by the French shipyard "Chantiers de l’Atlantique," the vessel represents the pinnacle of high-end nautical design. Its standout feature is the revolutionary "Solid Sail" system, developed to harness wind energy with maximum efficiency. During recent sea trials, the ship achieved a speed of nearly 22 kilometers per hour using wind power alone, a feat previously unseen for a vessel of this magnitude. Shipbuilders expect the maximum speed to reach 32 kilometers per hour once the ship is fully operational.
