President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan has received numerous congratulatory messages from foreign leaders on the occasion of his birthday — a reflection of the country's strong international standing and diplomatic ties.
Russian President Vladimir Putin described the relationship between Russia and Turkmenistan as a “deep strategic partnership” and highlighted the President’s personal contribution to its development. Other Russian officials, including Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, and Federation Council Chair Valentina Matviyenko, reaffirmed their support for continued bilateral cooperation.
Chinese President Xi Jinping recalled the recent visit by the Turkmen leader to China and praised the broad consensus reached during their talks. He emphasized the shared commitment to enhancing the traditional friendship between the two nations.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, addressing his counterpart as a “dear brother,” emphasized the growing ties rooted in shared language, history, and cultural heritage. He expressed confidence in the continued development of cooperation within both bilateral and multilateral frameworks.
South Korean President Lee Jae-myung called Turkmenistan a key partner in Central Asia and emphasized the significant progress in relations since 2008. He also requested greater engagement with Korean companies in Turkmenistan’s economic development.
Leaders from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Belarus joined in extending their warm wishes, highlighting the importance of enduring friendship and strategic partnership.
These messages underline Turkmenistan’s growing reputation as a reliable international partner.

Turkmenistan Announces the Contest “Youth Creativity – The Voice of Peace”
The editorial office of Nesil newspaper, together with the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, has announced the launch of the contest “Youth Creativity – The Voice of Peace.” The official announcement was published in the Nesil newspaper issue dated October 28.
The competition is open to young people under the age of 35. Participants are invited to submit essays, short stories, and poems dedicated to the themes of national achievements, patriotism, permanent neutrality, peace, friendship, and unity.
Entries must be submitted by December 10 with the note “Youth Creativity – The Voice of Peace.” Applications should include an information sheet, a copy of the passport, two 3×4 photos, home address, and phone number.
