The final round of the "Student of the Year" national academic competition was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the National Center of Trade Unions, and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization. According to the "Turkmenistan" newspaper, 27 students who excelled in preliminary stages with their talent and academic prowess qualified for the final phase of the tournament.

Over the course of the two-day event, the jury comprehensively evaluated the participants based on their cumulative grade point average, involvement in various academic contests, the quality of their scientific research, intellectual property certificates, and their contributions to public and community awareness campaigns. On the final day, the results of written examinations covering modern Turkmen society and computer technologies were announced. These newly acquired points were added to the previous scores to finalize the grand list of winners.

Ultimately, Daniyar Emirkulyyev, a 4th-year student at the International University for the Humanities and Development, successfully met all criteria and outperformed his competitors with a top score of 67.55 points, earning the prestigious title of "Student of the Year." First place was awarded to Baynazar Muhammedow, a 4th-year student at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan.

Second place went to Gurtgeldi Hanow, a 4th-year student at the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute, alongside Gundogdy Aymammedow, a 4th-year military student at the Border Institute of Turkmenistan. Third place was shared among Rahat Atayew, a 4th-year military student at the National Security Institute of Turkmenistan; Muhammedaly Atabayew, a 6th-year student at the Myrat Garryýew Turkmen State Medical University; Batyr Ovezmyradow, a 3rd-year student at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute; Hajymyrat Ilimow, a 3rd-year student at the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports; and Guwanch Yoldashow, a 3rd-year student at the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding.
