Voluntary mortgage insurance rules have been revoked in Turkmenistan
04 Aug. 12:58The State Insurance Organization of Turkmenistan has cancelled the rules for voluntary mortgage insurance in effect since 2011. The corresponding order was signed by the organization's general director G. Nurmuhammedov, as reported on the website of the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan.
According to Order No. 47 of June 26, 2025, the document regulating the procedure for voluntary mortgage insurance has lost its force. The rules were initially approved in January 2011 and officially registered with the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan.
The cancellation of the rules was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation - the Civil Code of Turkmenistan and the Law "On Insurance". Control over the execution of the order is assigned to the management of the central office of the insurance organization, as well as the directors of regional divisions throughout the country.
The document was officially registered with the Ministry of Justice on July 22, 2025.
