A new national cost-normative framework is set to be implemented within Turkmenistan's construction industry. The proposal was detailed in a report by Vice-Premier B. Annamammedov during a recent Cabinet of Ministers meeting, focusing on the strategic modernization of the nation’s urban development sector.

The initiative aims to refine the regulatory environment by adopting scientific methods and advanced manufacturing technologies. This structural shift is designed to optimize project budgeting and ensure that construction processes align with contemporary economic requirements and technical specifications.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal, noting that the ongoing renovation and large-scale construction projects across the country must meet international quality standards. The President emphasized that updating the national cost-measurement base is essential for the effective integration of innovation into the industry.

This updated framework will govern all future construction, assembly, and restoration activities nationwide. By streamlining resource allocation and cost management, the new standards are expected to enhance the overall productivity and transparency of the domestic construction market.
