Turkmenistan and UNDP Strategize Joint Frameworks for Sustainable Governance and Development

The delegations assessed the readines of new joint projects centered on modernizing healthcare infrastructure, securing vital pharmaceutical supply chains, and acquiring medical technology. Furthermore, the meeting highlighted the institutional progress made in embedding Sustainable Development Goals into national strategies, specifically reviewing the ongoing preparation of the state's Volunteer National Review.
The session concluded with both sides evaluating regional environmental initiatives, including the proposal to establish a specialized climate technology center in Central Asia. Turkmenistan's broader international legal initiatives and concepts for efficient public administration were well received by the international delegates. A bilateral meeting between representatives of Turkmenistan and the People's Republic of China focused on agricultural development was held at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat. The negotiations took place within the framework of a visit by a Chinese delegation led by Erkin Tuniyaz, Chairman of the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
