President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an official meeting with the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, who arrived in Ashgabat to attend the session of the CIS Council of Heads of Government. President Berdimuhamedov expressed Turkmenistan’s strong interest in increasing trade volumes, diversifying the types of goods exchanged in the market, and creating more favorable conditions to foster closer linkages between the private business communities of both nations.

Additionally, the officials evaluated progress within the cultural and humanitarian fields, noting that academic science, technological education, and healthcare remain priority sectors for joint institutional growth. The meeting concluded with both President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin reaffirming their respective governments' long-term commitment to advancing comprehensive strategic cooperation across all mutually beneficial sectors.
