Through strategic collaboration with the Chinese petrochemical giant "Sinopec," Turkmenistan has successfully boosted its energy output, securing over 900,000 tons of additional crude oil. This milestone was achieved through service contracts valued at more than $170 million, focusing on the enhancement of existing extraction sites. The partnership reflects a growing emphasis on utilizing advanced technical solutions to maximize the productivity of the nation’s energy reserves.

The technical scope of the cooperation includes sophisticated well-rehabilitation techniques, such as directional drilling and sidetracking. These high-tech interventions have enabled local operators to overcome geological challenges and increase daily production by approximately 1,500 tons. By implementing modern water insulation and zone stabilization methods, the project has significantly improved the efficiency of older wells that were previously underperforming.

Beyond service maintenance, the partnership extends to a broad range of industrial agreements involving multiple Chinese firms. Currently, 29 contracts totaling over $439 million are in effect, covering the acquisition of specialized geophysical instruments, high-grade piping, and essential chemical reagents. This multifaceted approach ensures that Turkmenistan's energy sector remains equipped with the latest machinery and infrastructure necessary for large-scale operations.
