The State Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan has launched a comprehensive thematic exhibition timed to coincide with the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, alongside Magtymguly Pyragy’s Poetry Day. The curated display serves as an artistic tribute to the historical and contemporary icons who have shaped the country's spiritual and intellectual development.

According to the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the core of the exhibition consists of masterfully executed portraits of famous national composers, musicians, and writers, created by prominent Turkmen painters. The collection includes notable classical works such as Ýakup Annanurow’s "Composer Daňatar Öwezow", Çary Amangeldiýew’s "Shukur Bakhshi", as well as thematic pieces by Aman Amangeldiýew and Nyýazmyrat Dowodow depicting legendary folk storytellers.

Visitors can also view expressive portraits by Saparmämmet Meredow and Ivan Ilyin, whose artwork masterfully captures the essence of Magtymguly Pyragy. Additionally, Ahmet Hallyýew’s painting "Azady and Magtymguly" provides a deep philosophical insight into the historic literary lineage of the nation. These artworks emphasize the high level of technical proficiency achieved by the Turkmen school of realistic and impressionistic painting.

This museum event marks the beginning of nationwide celebrations, which include the annual Culture Week. In accordance with the Decree signed by the President of Turkmenistan, the upcoming cycle of this cultural festival is scheduled to take place in the Balkan region, bringing together art professionals and performing groups from all provinces.
