The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Guvanch Agajanov, met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, Gismet Gezalov, to discuss the future of bilateral relations in the energy sector. During the meeting, both officials emphasized the crucial role of high-level diplomatic dialogue in fostering economic growth. They noted that the strong bond between the two nations serves as a catalyst for deepening a multi-faceted partnership, particularly in large-scale energy initiatives.

The Azerbaijani Ambassador took the opportunity to congratulate Turkmenistan on the official launch of the fourth phase of the "Galkynyş" gas field development, being conducted in partnership with China.
