The State Museum of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan recently hosted a cultural forum titled "National Experience of Artistic Creativity." During the official gathering, prominent local craftsmen were presented with certificates confirming the honorary title of "People's Master of Creative Arts."
The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Culture, the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, and the State Museum. To highlight the country's rich intangible cultural heritage, the ceremony featured an exhibition showcasing traditional Turkmen musical instruments, authentic female jewelry, and hand-woven national costumes.
A total of 12 distinguished artisans from across the country received the honorary title. The awards were distributed equally among the regions, with certificates presented to two representatives from the capital city of Ashgabat and two master craftsmen from each of the five provinces.

The solution utilizes local bacteria adapted to the regional climate, which harness methane monooxygenase to convert methane into carbon dioxide and water.
Methane is a major contributor to global warming, with a heat-trapping capacity in the atmosphere significantly higher than that of carbon dioxide. The newly developed bio-agent features high efficiency in industrially congested areas, cost-effectiveness through the use of local raw materials, and complete safety for human health and the environment.
This scientific breakthrough aligns with Turkmenistan's sustainable development strategy, supporting its commitments under the Global Methane Pledge to enhance environmental oversight in the energy sector.
