The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan hosted a high-level Turkmen-American Business Council meeting in a roundtable format. The structural session was attended by heads of key government ministries and state agencies, alongside a delegation of US corporate executives led by Eric Stewart, the Executive Director of the Turkmen-American Business Council. The forum focused on upgrading commercial frameworks and integrating international manufacturing standards into the domestic market.

During the diplomatic briefings, the sides emphasized that Turkmenistan’s stable investment climate and robust legal architecture offer secure conditions for overseas capital. The American business executives reaffirmed their intent to expand their market footprint and participate in large-scale national infrastructure projects. The speakers underlined that recent strategic visits by the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, to the United States have initiated a new dynamic era in bilateral relations.

The council reviewed priority areas for long-term investment and supply diversification. Key focus areas included the oil and gas complex, transport-logistics optimization, civil construction, agriculture, and the procurement of advanced water-management machinery. Furthermore, strategic interest was directed toward technology-driven fields, specifically focusing on the deployment of innovative solutions, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, modern healthcare, and climate-resilient environmental initiatives.

The participants highlighted the operational role of newly formed institutional frameworks in boosting economic performance. Special emphasis was placed on the Turkmen-American Business Cooperation Association (TABCA), established in May of this year, which is projected to serve as an efficient platform complementing existing trade channels. In tandem with the main roundtable session, a series of targeted B2B and G2B bilateral meetings were conducted to establish direct contracts between Turkmen ministries and US corporations.
