In 2025, Toyota achieved an unprecedented commercial milestone in Turkmenistan, marking a historic peak in regional sales performance. According to the brand's official distributor, "Toyota Central Asia FZE," the volume of vehicles sold reached its highest level since the company began operations in the country. This significant growth reflects the strong market position of the Japanese automaker and the increasing consumer preference for its reliable vehicle lineup.

To celebrate this accomplishment, official dealers "Beýik Ýüpek Ýoly" and "Garagum Ulag" hosted special events at their respective showrooms. A highlight of the celebrations was the recognition of milestone customers, Gurbangeldi Annayev and Atageldi Matjiyev. These clients were presented with an exclusive extended service package, which includes six complimentary technical maintenance sessions valid for three years or up to 60,000 kilometers, ensuring long-term peace of mind for the owners.

The sales diversity was showcased by the purchase of prominent models such as the Toyota Hiace and the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. The Hiace continues to be a preferred choice for businesses and large families due to its versatility and durability. Meanwhile, the Land Cruiser Prado remains a symbol of off-road excellence and urban sophistication, proving its effectiveness across varied terrains. These sales underscore the diverse utility that Toyota provides to the Turkmen automotive market.

Toyota’s strategic expansion in Turkmenistan is supported by professional centers located in Ashgabat and Balkanabat. By offering high-quality after-sales support and authentic spare parts, dealers like "Garagum Ulag" and "Beýik Ýüpek Ýoly" have solidified their reputation for excellence. These initiatives are part of a broader goal to strengthen the brand's footprint in the local market while continuously enhancing the customer experience through premium services and technical support.

Facing a record drop in fertility rates, Singapore is significantly expanding its family support framework. According to Bloomberg, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced increases in direct financial assistance alongside enhanced housing benefits for young families.

Under the updated policy, every Singaporean child up to the age of 17 will be eligible to receive up to 70,000 Singapore dollars (approximately $55,000 USD) in total support, which includes cash payouts, educational grants, and related benefits. The government is also expanding paid parental leave and capping monthly out-of-pocket costs for government-subsidized childcare at 150 Singapore dollars.

These interventions aim to reverse a severe demographic decline, marked by last year's fertility rate drop to 0.87 children per woman, while over 20% of the country's population is currently aged 65 or older.
