The International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference focused on the economic rationale of comprehensive biotechnology integration. The academic forum gathered the country's prominent researchers, scientists, and postgraduate students to evaluate institutional progress. The primary objective of the session was to assess the Technopark's recent achievements in translating theoretical laboratory models into viable industrial applications.

A significant portion of the plenary session was dedicated to reviewing the strategic partnership with the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Operating under a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding, researchers from both nations are currently executing joint initiatives within agricultural biotechnology and environmental management. During the deliberations, visiting Chinese professors detailed the development of innovative biological formulas utilizing salt-tolerant micromycetes designed to survive high-salinity soil conditions.

Environmental mitigation and desertification control emerged as core focus areas for the institutional laboratory presentations. Scientists demonstrated a unique bio-engineering technique utilizing indigenous cyanobacteria strains to stabilize migratory sand dunes in the Karakum Desert by forming a protective biological crust. For industrial ecology purposes, a multi-phase bioremediation system was introduced, capable of neutralizing large-scale crude oil spills through the deployment of adapted local microflora.

In the domains of livestock management and pharmaceuticals, the Technopark showcased several import-substituting technologies and clinical derivatives. These included specialized, structurally balanced forage mixtures for Akhal-Teke horses and alternative insect-based protein extraction processes for commercial poultry farms. Furthermore, utilizing domestic botanical raw materials, researchers successfully engineered innovative phyto-collections, essential oils, and zero-waste extraction methods for high-value compounds like resveratrol and inulin.
