The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) experienced a highly productive trading week, officially registering 26 large-scale commercial transactions. Driven by a robust global demand for Turkmen-made industrial and agricultural commodities, international trade volumes expanded significantly. The total value of export contracts concluded with foreign business representatives successfully surpassed 3.526 million US dollars.

The exchange’s foreign currency transactions saw heavy bidding from regional textile buyers. Business delegations from Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan secured substantial volumes of high-grade Turkmen cotton yarn and premium cotton fiber. These deals highlight the strategic positioning of Turkmenistan's textile complex, which continues to solidify its reputation for delivering ecological and market-competitive materials to international textile hubs.

Simultaneously, the domestic trading floor witnessed intensive activity from local private enterprises. Turkmen entrepreneurs acquired substantial volumes of technical base oil manufactured by the refineries of the "Türkmennebit" State Concern to fuel domestic industrial processes. Beyond petroleum products, local business stakeholders also heavily purchased essential consumer goods, including cottonseed oil, high-grade wheat flour, and raw silk.

The total financial volume of transactions executed by local businesses for the domestic marketplace reached an impressive 173.734 million manats. This robust internal trading performance underscores the growing capacity of Turkmenistan's private sector, demonstrating how local manufacturers are successfully leveraging domestic raw materials to expand industrial processing and fortify food security nationwide.
