During a digital Cabinet of Ministers meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree to award the "Arkadag" medal of Turkmenistan to several representatives of international organizations. As reported by the "Watan" news program, this prestigious honor recognizes the outstanding personal contributions of international experts to strengthening humanitarian cooperation and supporting the nation’s initiatives aimed at protecting the health and well-being of children.

The President highlighted that March 29 marks the 5th anniversary of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship. Since its inception, the foundation has maintained an active and transparent collaboration with prominent international bodies. This partnership has been instrumental in facilitating specialized medical treatments and complex surgeries for children, showcasing the foundation’s commitment to providing comprehensive care for the younger generation.

In recognition of their dedicated efforts to enhance international ties and promote humanitarian values, the President awarded the "Arkadag" medal to select members of the international community.
