The regular session of the Halk Maslahaty, Turkmenistan’s supreme representative body, has officially convened at the Maslahat Palace in Ashgabat. The meeting is chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Attendees include deputies of the Mejlis, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of ministries and state agencies, respected elders, and representatives of civic organizations and media.
The agenda covers strategic matters aimed at driving the nation's ongoing socio-economic progress and enhancing public welfare. Delegates are evaluating national achievements, reviewing final preparations for the upcoming 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence, and considering recommendations for state awards and honorary titles.
