President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow extended greetings to participants of the opening ceremony of the modern village Baghtly Zamana in the Govshut council of Kaakh district, Ahal province.

“Today, on the eve of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and Independence Day, we witness a series of solemn openings of new buildings and facilities across our beautiful homeland. Significant socio-economic development has been achieved in Ahal province in a short period,” the statement says.

The village includes 400 residential houses, a secondary school for 640 students, a kindergarten for 320 children, a shopping center, and an administrative building — exemplifying the model appearance of villages and towns of present and future Turkmenistan.

The President emphasized that Baghtly Zamana will be inscribed in the new history of the council with golden letters and will contribute to raising the socio-cultural level and welfare of rural residents. The construction was carried out by Turkmen builders, who play a crucial role in implementing large-scale reform programs.

The National Program for improving living conditions until 2028 aims to strengthen social protection and further enhance the population’s quality of life.

The Head of State wished the attendees health, happiness, and success in their work, stressing that care for the people is a key priority in Turkmenistan’s state policy.
