President of Turkmenistan Awards Foreign Citizens with Medal Honoring 300th Anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy
On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy, Turkmenistan’s national poet and philosopher, and in celebration of the 34th anniversary of independence and 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a decree awarding foreign nationals the commemorative medal “Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna”.
According to TDH, the medal recognizes individuals for their notable contributions to strengthening cultural dialogue between Turkmenistan and the international community.
Award recipients include:

Khoja Murad Ata Murad – Chairman of the Turkmen Cultural Society in the UAE, part of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World;

Abdul Rahman Ahmadi – Head of the Afghan Turkmen Cultural Society named after Magtymguly Pyragy;

Abdul Hakim Nasseri – Individual member of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World from Germany.
