The price of gold experienced a significant downturn during the latest trading sessions on New York’s COMEX commodity exchange. Financial market data indicates that a troy ounce of gold dropped sharply by 64.9 US dollars, settling at a value of 4,137,8 dollars. This contraction on one of the world's premier metals trading platforms underscores the ongoing volatility across international commodity exchanges.
In tandem with gold, silver prices also registered a notable downward correction. The price of silver shed 3.02 dollars per troy ounce, bringing its market value down to 63.05 dollars. Commodity market analysts attribute this synchronized decline in major precious metals to shifting macroeconomic indicators and short-term capital reallocations on global financial exchanges.
