On June 10, the legendary vocalist and People's Artist of Turkmenistan, Annagul Gurdova, celebrated her 75th birthday. This landmark personal anniversary beautifully coincided with another historic milestone in the acclaimed performer's life — the 70th anniversary of her continuous creative and stage career.

Born in the capital city of Ashgabat, Annagul Gurdova discovered her profound connection to music during early childhood. She began singing when she was just three years old, and her exceptional talent quickly secured her invitations to participate in state radio broadcasts and specialized children's television programs. Throughout her school years, the future icon dedicated herself to rigorous vocal training, constantly refining her performance techniques.

Although she pursued higher education in law and successfully practiced as a legal professional for a period of time, Annagul Gurdova remained unyielding in her devotion to the performing arts and instrumental music. She never abandoned her musical career and currently continues her professional journey as a leading soloist at the Cultural and Business Center of the "Turkmengas" State Concern.
