Ozon, the leading e-commerce platform that officially launched its operations in Turkmenistan in late March 2026, has reached a new milestone by extending its delivery services nationwide. Starting April 3, the platform’s extensive marketplace became accessible to residents in every province (velayat) of the country. Previously limited to the capital city of Ashgabat, the service now allows customers across Turkmenistan to access millions of products ranging from high-end electronics to daily essentials.
This nationwide expansion was achieved through a strategic partnership with the state postal service, "Turkmenpochta." Utilizing the postal service's extensive branch network, Ozon has transformed local post offices into convenient pickup points for customers. This collaboration significantly enhances the logistical capabilities of the platform, ensuring that even remote areas have a reliable gateway to global retail options and a diverse catalog of international goods.
The platform operates on a secure digital payment model, facilitating transactions through authorized local bank cards. To complete a purchase, users must ensure their cards are enabled for online payments through their respective financial institutions. This integration with the national banking system ensures a transparent and regulated shopping environment, encouraging the growth of digital financial literacy and cashless transactions among Turkmen consumers.
To assist new users and streamline the onboarding process, a dedicated customer support line has been established. Residents can dial the short code 075 for guidance on bank card registration or any technical inquiries regarding the delivery process. Updated information on pickup locations and detailed ordering instructions are continuously published on the official ozon.tm website, providing a comprehensive resource for the evolving Turkmen e-commerce market.

Detroit High School Students Eligible for Up to $1,000 for Perfect Attendance
23 Aug. 18:09High school students in Detroit, Michigan, who maintain consistent school attendance can earn up to $1,000 in electronic gift cards. According to Fox News, high schoolers receive a $100 digital gift card for every week of uninterrupted class attendance. Students can earn $400 across four weeks, with total incentives reaching up to $1,000 during the 10-week winter period.
The attendance incentive model demonstrated strong results between January and March 2026, when approximately 12,800 high school students—representing 84% of the district's high school population—qualified for the payments. Concurrently, chronic absenteeism dropped from 64% to 54%. Following this success, the program has been extended through the 2026–2027 academic year and expanded to include students in grades 6–8, who will receive $50 for each week of full attendance.
The school district allocated $13.9 million from its overall budget to combat unexcused absences. The program maintains strict criteria: a single unexcused absence during any given school week forfeits the student's eligibility for that week's reward.
