New Museum in Arkadag City to Feature Exhibits on the National Leader’s Life and Legacy

The Leader reviewed the exterior ornamentation and architectural motifs, sharing insights on how to enhance the building's aesthetic appeal. Emphasizing that the museum should be a unique addition to the surrounding mosque complex, he called for the acceleration of the final construction phases to meet project deadlines.
The museum project has officially entered its concluding stage. Officials in charge of the city’s development announced that the interior will be dedicated to the meaningful life and prolific career of Hero-Arkadag. The collection is designed to bridge the personal journey of the National Leader with the collective destiny of the Turkmen nation, showcasing his unwavering dedication to public service and state-building.
The planned exhibits include a vast collection of state and international awards, photographs documenting key historical moments, and the diverse literary and scientific works authored by the National Leader. By housing these artifacts, the museum will serve as a repository of contemporary history, providing insights into the leadership philosophy and intellectual contributions that have shaped the modern era of the country.
Regarding the specific organization of the artifacts, the National Leader suggested that the Ministry of Cabinet reach out for professional coordination to ensure the highest standards of curation. Specialists at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, led by Durdymyrat Gadamov and Altyn Rahmanova, have developed a new-generation bio-agent designed to neutralize soil methane emissions. The solution utilizes local bacteria adapted to the regional climate, which harness methane monooxygenase to convert methane into carbon dioxide and water.
Methane is a major contributor to global warming, with a heat-trapping capacity in the atmosphere significantly higher than that of carbon dioxide. The newly developed bio-agent features high efficiency in industrially congested areas, cost-effectiveness through the use of local raw materials, and complete safety for human health and the environment.
This scientific breakthrough aligns with Turkmenistan's sustainable development strategy, supporting its commitments under the Global Methane Pledge to enhance environmental oversight in the energy sector.
