Representatives of the Mogilev Railway Car Building Plant are among the prominent participants of the international forum "Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan" (IFT 2026), currently held in Ashgabat. As a leading enterprise in the Belarusian transport engineering industry, the plant views Turkmenistan as a high-priority market for strategic cooperation. The forum provides a unique platform for the company to showcase its capabilities to local state agencies and private logistics firms.

Andrey Kharkevich, Head of Marketing and Sales at the Mogilev plant, stated that after establishing a strong presence in Russia and Kazakhstan, the company is now focusing on building effective partnerships in Turkmenistan. The delegation plans to hold several high-level meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Railway Transport and other relevant logistical organizations. These discussions are aimed at identifying the specific requirements of the local railway network and offering customized technical solutions.

The Mogilev plant is highly specialized in the manufacturing of various types of freight wagons, with an annual production capacity exceeding 2,500 units. Its product lineup includes specialized hopper cars for transporting grain, cement, and mineral fertilizers, as well as versatile platforms for lumber and oversized construction materials. The high technical standards of these wagons make them suitable for the demanding logistical conditions of the Eurasian transport corridors.

Furthermore, the plant is set to launch the production of a new line of covered wagons later this year to meet growing international demand. According to Mr. Kharkevich, the ongoing IFT 2026 exhibition in Ashgabat serves as a crucial milestone for Belarusian manufacturers in accessing a new and dynamic market. This expansion is expected to contribute significantly to the modernization of Turkmenistan’s railway infrastructure and foster stronger bilateral economic ties.
