Large-Scale Celebrations Held Across Turkmenistan to Mark International Children's Day

The primary venues for the celebrations included the capital's "Ashgabat" recreation park and the public squares of the newly developed city of Arkadag. The organized programs featured the conclusion of various children's talent competitions, sports demonstrations, open-air drawing sessions, and interactive traditional games that engaged thousands of young citizens.
A central element of the celebration was dedicated to targeted social care and inclusive initiatives directed toward children in need of special state support. Inhabitants of the "Döwletliler köşgi" palace complex, alongside young patients undergoing treatment at specialized pediatric rehabilitation centers, received festive packages filled with fresh fruits and confections on behalf of the state leadership. Furthermore, the high school graduates of the orphanage were presented with modern laptop computers to facilitate their subsequent educational pursuits.
The preparation and distribution of these special packages were sponsored by the specialized Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care. The state news agency TDH emphasized that equipping these young individuals with digital hardware is strategically aimed at enhancing their integration into the contemporary digital learning ecosystem. The gift presentations were accompanied by formal congratulations and motivational wishes for their future career paths.
The computational peak of the holiday schedule materialized through dynamic theatrical and circus performances staged in front of the Görogly State Equestrian Circus. Audiences were treated to a dramatic performance by the world-renowned "Galkynyş" national equestrian games group, whose riders executed high-difficulty acrobatic stunts on galloping horses. The brilliant display by this acclaimed collective, which has won numerous grand prizes at international festivals, concluded the nationwide holiday events.
Modern Maternal and Child Healthcare Center Opens Its Doors in Balkanabat
Today in 08:38In celebration of the National Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Industry Workers' Day, a state-of-the-art Maternal and Child Healthcare Center was officially inaugurated in the city of Balkanabat. The landmark event gathered regional and municipal officials, members of the Halk Maslahaty and Parliament, healthcare professionals, and community leaders. The opening ceremony featured festive cultural performances, musical numbers, and traditional Kushtdepdi dances.
The newly constructed medical complex consists of four- and five-story buildings designed to accommodate up to 305 patients. The center houses comprehensive maternity and postnatal wards, a gynecology division, pediatric units, and diagnostic consultation departments. The facility is equipped with advanced medical technology, including MRI, CT scanners, digital mammography, and fluorography units.
Notably, the center features the region's first 10-bed neonatal intensive care unit, fully outfitted with "Medicor" incubators from Hungary and high-precision German monitoring systems. These technologies allow medical staff to continuously monitor vital stats, body temperature, oxygen saturation, and respiratory functions of newborns.
During the ceremony, outstanding builders from the "Shadiyan Gurlushyk" enterprise were honored with gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, who also donated a new fleet of vehicles to support the medical center's operations.
