Kazakhstan has introduced stricter legal measures aimed at protecting healthcare professionals from threats and intimidation. The updated legislation was officially approved at the highest state level, highlighting the importance of safeguarding medical staff while they perform their professional duties.

Under the new rules, individuals found guilty of threatening medical workers may face a range of penalties, including financial fines, compulsory or corrective labor, and, in more serious cases, imprisonment for a defined period.
