A ceremonial event dedicated to the 2026 national motto — “Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — the land of swift horses and great aspirations” — was held at Istanbul Medipol University. The event highlighted Turkmenistan’s national values and its growing international engagement.

The ceremony was attended by the Consul General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul, O. Jumanazarov, members of the university’s administration and academic staff, as well as Turkmen students studying in the Republic of Türkiye.

Speakers emphasized that the 2026 motto reflects Turkmenistan’s strategic vision, contributing to the strengthening of state independence and enhancing the country’s international standing. The concept was presented as an important symbol of Turkmenistan’s long-term development path.

Representatives of Medipol University underlined the strong and steadily developing relations between Turkmenistan and Türkiye, expressing readiness to further expand cooperation in higher education and scientific research.

In addition, Turkmen diplomats held a meeting with students from Turkmenistan enrolled at Medipol University. Discussions focused on academic matters and opportunities for greater involvement of young people in social and cultural initiatives.
