The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan hosted an online meeting with S. al-Salihi, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Iraqi city of Kirkuk. The video conference was also attended by J. al-Attar, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Turkmenistan, to discuss bilateral trade and economic relations along with mutually beneficial partnership opportunities.

The Turkmen side announced its readiness to export textile, food, light industry, and leather products to the Iraqi market. In turn, the Iraqi representatives highlighted the strategic and industrial importance of Kirkuk in the region, expressing a strong desire to welcome a delegation of Turkmen entrepreneurs to Iraq and to establish new collaborative business platforms. In response, the Turkmen side invited Iraqi business circles to visit Ashgabat for the upcoming international exhibition titled "Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan."
