During the latest session of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) held on Wednesday, April 22, significant trade activity was recorded from both international and domestic participants. A total of 6 transactions were finalized, amounting to 77,315,000 Turkmen manats and $2,333,880 USD. The exchange continues to serve as a vital platform for showcasing the country’s industrial output and attracting global investment.

International buyers from Hong Kong and Turkey dominated the foreign currency segment of the trades. Hong Kong-based companies secured deals for "SN-600" base oil produced by the "Turkmennebit" State Concern and purchased cotton yarn from local private manufacturers. Meanwhile, Turkish entrepreneurs focused on the agricultural sector, acquiring first-grade wheat flour from Turkmen producers to meet international demand.

On the domestic front, local entrepreneurs actively participated in the bidding process to secure essential industrial materials. Deals were struck with the "Turkmennebit" State Concern for "TPP Z 30 G" polypropylene and with the "Turkmenpagta" State Concern for cotton fiber. These raw materials are intended for further domestic processing, supporting the country's growing manufacturing sector and the production of value-added goods.

The diverse range of products sold—stretching from petrochemicals and textiles to foodstuffs—highlights the effective diversification of Turkmenistan’s export economy. The steady stream of successful transactions on the SCRMET reinforces the transparency of the national market and underscores Turkmenistan’s reputation as a reliable supplier of high-quality industrial and agricultural commodities on the world stage.
