FC Arkadag, representing Turkmenistan, is expected to take part in an international friendly match during its training camp in Turkey. According to information released by the Uzbek side, the club may play against Fergana-based Neftchi, the reigning champions of Uzbekistan.

The proposed match is scheduled for January 31 and is set to take place in Antalya, a traditional training hub for clubs from Turkmenistan and across the region. Neftchi’s representatives noted that the team plans to test its readiness for the upcoming season by competing against strong and experienced opponents, including a club from Turkmenistan.

In addition to Arkadag of Turkmenistan, the Uzbek champions are planning friendly matches against teams from Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Ukraine, and Georgia, highlighting the competitive nature of their preparation phase.

At the same time, the press service of FC Arkadag has not yet officially confirmed participation in the friendly match. However, the club from Turkmenistan is already fully engaged in preparations for important international fixtures.

Currently, the three-time champions of Turkmenistan are focused on the AFC Champions League Two round of 16, where they will face Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr. The Turkmenistan-based team resumed training ahead of schedule at the Olympic Stadium in Ashgabat. The first leg will be played on February 11 in Turkmenistan, while the return match is scheduled for February 18 in Saudi Arabia.
