Farmers in Dashoguz Province have fully fulfilled their contractual obligations for the rice harvest, announced Governor D. Babaev during a working meeting chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, reports TDH.

The meeting focused on the development of the agricultural sector and regional activities. Participants included Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhallyev and governors from other provinces.

The President warmly congratulated the rice farmers on their achievement and wished them continued success.
During the report, Governor D. Babaev informed about other seasonal agricultural campaigns: cotton is being harvested efficiently without losses, collection points and agricultural machinery operate smoothly, wheat sowing has been completed with uniform sprouting, and land is being ploughed for cotton cultivation.

Additionally, the President was briefed on measures to ensure the proper functioning of heating systems in social and residential buildings, as well as the progress of construction projects planned for completion this year.
After the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of adhering to agrotechnical standards, improving agricultural practices, issued specific instructions to the governor, and ordered strict supervision over construction quality.
