The Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat hosted the official inauguration ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This comprehensive humanitarian initiative is targeted at strengthening historical ties of friendship, shared spiritual values, and strategic neighborhood goodwill between the two Caspian nations. The session brought together senior cultural ministry officials, foreign diplomatic corps, and prominent representatives of the arts and academic communities.

As reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH), the opening gala concert featured synchronized collaborative acts by master artists from both nations. The audience highly appreciated the classical and traditional compositions performed by the Fikret Amirov State Azerbaijan International Folk Instruments Orchestra, the Gara Garayev State Chamber Orchestra, and the rhythmic drumming sets performed by the State Dance Ensemble. The synergy of regional arts peaked during the finale, where the iconic Turkmen "Kushtdepdi" ritual dance performed by the Galkynysh folklore group blended creatively with interpretations by Azerbaijani vocalists.

The cultural itinerary covers multiple artistic mediums across institutional locations in the capital city. The Saparmurat Turkmenbashi Museum of Fine Arts hosted the launch of the special heritage exhibition titled "The Pearl of Azerbaijan's National Heritage". The curation features ancient and contemporary carpets, flat-weaves, metalworks, jewelry, and ethnic costumes sourced from the permanent collections of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum. Concurrently, the Ashgabat Cinema kicked off a series of cinematic screenings, presenting contemporary and classic Azerbaijani feature films to the capital’s public.
