Dear teachers and students!

This year is marked by the 34th anniversary of independence and the 30th anniversary of neutrality of the sovereign Fatherland, and at the same time, each day is filled with new significant events on a historical scale and bright festive events.

And today, on the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, we are solemnly opening a complex of new buildings of the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

With all my heart I congratulate you and dear compatriots on the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, as well as on the commissioning of a new educational institution that will increase the magnificence of the appearance of our capital!

Dear friends!

In the independent Fatherland, under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, great attention is paid to improving the sphere of science and education, bringing it to the world level.

As the esteemed President notes in his Address to schoolchildren, students, teachers and employees of the education system of our country, knowledge is the basis of all our achievements, a happy and prosperous life. It is knowledge that illuminates our path, starting from the glorious past, into the future.

The wise sayings of our ancestors say: "The ignorant man's life is only a short moment, but the wise man's life is immortal", "The people who know, lead" and "The merits are only to those who know and to those who weave." Guided by them, we do everything necessary so that young people can constantly improve their knowledge.

The bright future of the sovereign Motherland directly depends on the education and upbringing of the young generation of today, since it is they who will have to successfully continue our great deeds.

Therefore, for us, the main goal is to prepare literate, hardworking and patriotic youth with a broad outlook, a high level of qualification and moral qualities.

In the context of the development of the education system in Turkmenistan, large-scale programs are being implemented, targeted investments, and its material and technical base is being consistently strengthened.

At the same time, the introduction of advanced achievements in the field of science and technology is being scaled up in the education system.

The esteemed President’s Resolution adopted the “Concept for Improving Teaching Methods in General Education Programs in Turkmenistan until 2028,” which became another significant step towards modernizing the national education system.

We also attach great importance to increasing international cooperation in the field of education.

In this regard, close contacts are maintained with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, as well as leading foreign scientific and educational centers.

Joint international projects are being successfully implemented in our country with the aim of training highly qualified specialists and systematically developing the sphere of science and education.

I am convinced that the new higher education institution being ceremonially opened today will make a significant contribution to strengthening international partnership in the field of science and education and training specialists for the domestic private sector!

Dear participants of the ceremony!

Today, a modern additional an educational building for 2 thousand students and a dormitory for 800 people in the structure of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan. During the current academic year, opening ceremonies of many new institutions of school and preschool education will be held in Ashgabat and the regions.

In order for the younger generation to receive modern education and upbringing, to become specialists who understand advanced technologies and have a broad outlook, schoolchildren going to the 1st grade will be presented with Bilimli computers on behalf of the esteemed President Arkadagly Serdar.

Knowledge and science can raise a person to unprecedented heights, and therefore we must encourage young people to receive modern education and constantly improve their knowledge.

Support and stimulation of the private sector of the economy is a key direction of the socio-economic development of our state.

In the independent Fatherland, the private sector is provided with comprehensive assistance, small and medium-sized businesses are consistently expanding.

Significant steps towards the development of the private sector in our country were the establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in 2008, the newspaper "Rysgal" in 2010, the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank "Rysgal" in 2011, and the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in 2012.
