China Introduces Visa K: What Opportunities Will It Open for Turkmen Citizens
Starting October 1, the People's Republic of China will introduce a new visa category K, aimed at young foreign specialists in science and technology. This is reported by CCTV, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China.
According to spokesperson Guo Jiajun, the initiative aims to expand international cooperation and exchanges among young scientists and experts in high-tech fields.
Unlike the existing 12 types of regular visas, visa category K allows for a greater number of entries, has a longer validity period, and extends the stay duration.
Holders of this visa will be able to participate in educational, cultural, and scientific-technical programs, as well as implement entrepreneurial and business initiatives. To obtain the visa, one must meet basic criteria regarding age, education level, and professional experience. No invitation from the Chinese side is required, and the application process is simplified.
For young specialists from Turkmenistan, this innovation will open new opportunities for education, participation in joint projects, and strengthening professional ties with the international scientific community.
