In April of this year, Ashgabat will host the "Turkmentravel — 2026" international exhibition and conference, a key event aimed at showcasing Turkmenistan’s diverse tourism landscape. During a digital Cabinet meeting, Deputy Chairperson Bahar Seyidova reported on the extensive preparations currently underway for the forum. The event is expected to attract high-level representatives from global tourism organizations and industry experts, fostering a new era of cooperation in the sector.

The forum's agenda includes a variety of interactive sessions, including workshops organized by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), round-table business meetings, and scientific-practical conferences. The Head of State noted that strengthening international ties is essential for integrating Turkmenistan into the global tourism market. Consequently, the Vice-Prime Minister received specific instructions to ensure that the "Turkmentravel — 2026" forum is organized at the highest international standard.

With world-renowned attractions such as the Darvaza gas crater and the breathtaking Yangykala canyons, Turkmenistan is poised to become a premier destination for eco-tourism and historical exploration.
