An international forum marking the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality has officially opened at the Maslahat Köşgi Palace. High-ranking delegations and representatives of international organizations are participating in the event.

In his welcoming address to the forum participants, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the policy of neutrality has become a reliable foundation for the country's sustainable development. He added that the legal status of neutrality contributes to maintaining high rates of economic growth, improving living standards, and allowing the country to act internationally as an attractive, responsible, and reliable partner.

The forum's program includes speeches by foreign leaders and representatives of reputable international organizations. The forum is expected to give additional impetus to efforts to strengthen peace and trust in international relations.
